The town of Lubbock is located in Lubbock County, Texas with a population of over 254,000 residents making it the 90th largest city in the Country and the 11th largest city in Texas. Lubbock is nicknamed the “Hub City” because of its integration of economy, education and health care system of the region. Much of the city’s economic growth and development is based on cotton, and irrigation.
